Common Issues and Solutions - Waterless Diffuser
- Ensure that the power cable is sucurly plugged into the diffuser and is plugged into a working outlet.
- Check if the power cable or adapter is damaged. If it is, replace it.
- Try a different power source to rule out socket issues.
- If none of the above resolves the issue, contact customer support.
- Confirm that you are using an oil designed for a waterless diffuser. All Signature Scents oils are designed to work with our diffusers.
- Place your finger over the hole at the top of the diffuser sealing the hole. Plug in the diffuser and wait. Can you feel any air pressure at the hole?
- Ensure the oil bottle is securely attached and not empty.
- Do not overfill the blue bottle. Fill the blue bottle so that it is a quarter full.
- Verify the diffuser settings and increase the intensity level if necessary.
- Clean the diffuser nozzle to remove any potential clogs. Please see the "How To Change The Atomizing Core" video in the additonal resources section of this page.
- Check the power pins on the lower half of the diffuser. The pins should be at a equal height. If one pin is lower, gently pull it up with your fingers. See image below:
- Contact customer support if the issue persists.
- Verify the oil level in the diffuser bottle; refill if needed.
- Ensure the intensity level is set appropriately for the room size.
- Clean the nozzle and ensure it isn’t clogged with residue. See How To Change Atomizing Core video in additonal resources.
- Confirm the room size matches the diffuser’s recommended coverage area.
- Ensure the oil bottle is correctly and tightly attached to the diffuser base.
- Avoid overfilling the bottle; follow the recommended fill line.
- Inspect the bottle and seals for any cracks or damage.
- If leaking continues, contact customer support for assistance.
- Check if the diffuser is placed on a flat and stable surface.
- Ensure there are no obstructions in the fan or nozzle areas.
- If the diffuser was recently moved, let it sit upright for a few minutes before turning it on again.
- Contact customer support if the noise persists.
